		<description>Yes, duende translates to soul (in the musical/artistic sense), but I love its origins. As I understand it, duende originally referred to a fairytale goblin. In the artistic sense, the goblin is the dark side that tries to consume the artist. Meanwhile, the artist fights to keep creating. If all goes well, though, the battle results in the spine-chilling sublime. It&#039;s one of my favorite things I ever learned about Spanish culture.</description>
